About Us

Our mission is to teach families to glorify God through the arts and to impact the world by applying what we learn in our community. Isaiah 64:8 (NIV) is our key verse: “Yet, O Lord, You are our Father. We are the clay, You are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.”

Children's Classes

In addition to our many studio art classes at Potter’s Clay, we offer a variety of new classes that are designed to enrich specialty skills that students can creatively apply to everyday life. Whether your students are college-bound or seeking a trade, these classes serve to glorify God by teaching them hands-on skills to use in the community. Our prayer at Potter’s Clay is that these courses will be a benefit to your students as they make their mark on the world. All courses are listed on the SCCHE website on the registration grid. Should you have any questions about registering, contact Terri Lisech at tslroh@gmail.com . For questions about individual classes, please contact the teachers directly.

Evening Workshops

In an effort to engage our community in the arts, Potter’s Clay is offering weekly workshops on Thursday evenings. Most of these workshops are two hours long and cover a variety of topics. Supplies and a complementary beverage bar are included with each registration, as well as a missionary art kit donated in your name. You can register for these on the Mark Project Page.

Each workshop leader is well-versed in a particular genre of art and is offering you a high level of expertise. By the end of each workshop, you will have learned skills needed to create your own unique art at home! Should you have any questions about registering, contact Terri Lisech at tslroh@gmail.com . For questions about individual classes, please contact the teachers directly.

Art Exhibits

Currently, in conjunction with The Family Vision, we offer quarterly art exhibits for local artists to display their skills. The fee is $10 to display up to three works of art for one artist, with a family cap of $25. Artwork remains on the walls for 2-3 months, which gives the artists opportunity to sell their work as well. An opening reception kicks off each exhibit. Check out our current exhibit schedule!
