Potter’s Clay at the Beacon

The Beacon Ministries

Gather. Create. Be Refreshed.

The Beacon offers evening classes designed to bring creativity and community into the rhythm of your week. Join us Monday nights at Higher Groundz or Thursday nights at Sunrise Church, where each gathering centers on meaningful art, thoughtful instruction, and Christ-centered connection.

These are more than classes—they are spaces to slow down, learn with intention, and create alongside others in a welcoming environment.

Fridays at The Beacon continue to offer a steady rhythm of connection through our Potter’s Clay studio days, where coffee is always on and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.

Our Saturday evening gatherings starting this fall offer intentional times of fellowship and fun—game nights, open mic events, and community-centered experiences—paired with café offerings and signature treats like our waffogatos.

Explore our classes and join us—we can’t wait to welcome you.

New Parent Groups this Fall!

Canvas & Connections

Begin and end your Fridays with intention, encouragement, and community. Canvas & Connections is a gathering space for moms and parents, designed to offer a peaceful rhythm of connection, prayer, and creative renewal.

In the mornings from 9:00-10:00, moms of younger children are invited to start the day by grabbing one of our handcrafted coffees or café drinks and settling in for meaningful conversation, prayer, and encouragement alongside seasoned homeschool moms.

Later in the day from 12:15-3:15, parents of tweens and teens can return for an extended time to connect more deeply—engaging in thoughtful discussion, prayer, practical guidance for the teenage years and beyond, and space for journaling or creative expression.

Whether you’re navigating the early years or preparing your children for what’s ahead, you’ll find wisdom, support, and a community that walks with you.

Come as you are and step into a rhythm of grace, growth, and connection.

Community

Art is more than a skill—it’s a way to serve and connect with others. Our students learn to apply their artistic abilities in meaningful ways, whether by designing Gospel-centered art kits, performing in concerts, or using their creativity to enrich lives beyond the classroom. From church and community projects to professional settings, they discover how art can be a powerful tool for communication, encouragement, and cultural impact.

Mission-Minded

Discover how our parent organization, The MARK Project, and Potter’s Clay are making a meaningful impact in our community. This short video highlights how our mission-focused art experiences equip families and individuals with creative resources that inspire faith, foster discipleship, and share the gospel. Each experience includes Gospel truth to evangelize and disciple, along with engaging instructions and study materials to create presentations that spread the hope of Christ both locally and around the world.
