In this course, students learn how to turn their videos and creativity into meaningful content on their own YouTube channel by moving from ideas to influence. Building on filming and editing skills, students will develop content strategies, create consistent videos, and explore how to grow and maintain a channel.
Students will gain practical experience in publishing, branding, and audience engagement while learning how to use media with purpose—communicating ideas clearly and effectively through digital platforms.
This course also helps students move from content to compensation, teaching how to turn creative skills into real-world opportunities. Students will explore the fundamentals of freelance filmmaking, including client work, pricing, project workflow, and professional expectations.
Additional topics may include advanced filming techniques and an introduction to cinematic tools such as drone videography. By the end of the course, students will understand how to apply their knowledge and skills toward building a creative career.
